Greg has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Suntory Global Spirits since October 2023 where he leads the executive team and organization to drive global growth, brand development and the continued premiumization of the SGS product line. He reports to the Chairman of the Board of Suntory Global Spirits and the Chief Executive Officer of Suntory Holdings.
Greg joined the company (previously known as Beam Suntory) in 2015 as General Manager of the U.S. market. He was promoted to General Manager of the North American business in mid-2016, became President of North America at the end of 2018, and then stepped into the role of Chief Growth and Brands Officer in January 2023.
Prior to Suntory Global Spirits, Greg spent a combined seven years with Kraft Foods in senior marketing and branding roles including as Vice President of Marketing for Kraft Enhancers (condiments and dressing). Previous to that, he spent four years with Bel Brands USA in senior marketing and commercial roles. He transitioned into the consumer goods sector from Monitor Group, where he was a management consultant. His professional career began with Procter & Gamble in sales and marketing roles in the Laundry and Grocery Divisions and prior to graduate school he served for two years as a Business Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps in Romania.
Greg has been engaged in community and industry-related organizations that are important to him and the company, including the CEO Advisory Group for the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (“IARD”) and the Board of the Executive Club of Chicago, Flying Embers (Hard Kombucha) and World Business Chicago. Greg served as a fellow in Leadership Greater Chicago in both the Signature Fellows Program (2008) and the Daniel Burnham Fellowship (2020).
Greg earned an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA degree in English from University of Kansas. He splits his time between New York and Chicago where he lives with his wife, Katie, and two sons.
