A Summer of learning – Interns at Suntory Global Spirits
Suntory Global Spirits in India is partnering with leading business schools to launch a dynamic internship program.
We hire talented interns from some of the top India business schools who are strategically placed across various functionaries within the company. Our Human Resources, Controlling, Marketing teams each hosted one intern, with three interns joining our Commercial function. This structured internship program was instrumental to provide valuable mentorship to emerging talent & future leaders, offered budding MBA graduates invaluable hands-on experience and networking opportunities and supported in enriching the company’s EVP.
Over the course of just two months, these interns have seamlessly integrated into our corporate culture, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to our core values and practices. They have worked on significant projects that are vital to our growth in India, such as Impact of our Buddy Pack, building the India Prestige story, and spearheading the Re-engineering/ Digitalization of our employee recognition platform.
The success of this internship program is attributed to the dedication of the project guides, who, despite their numerous business priorities, have dedicated their time and resources to mentor the interns.
The exchange of knowledge has been mutually beneficial, with our team gaining fresh insights from the interns, while the interns have echoed the appreciation towards their learning curve and engagement opportunities provided. This enriching experience underscores the value of such internships in driving mutual growth and innovation.
